Playful Child

Me & My Adult

Our littlest students get introduced to the world of dance in this fun movement class! Dancers spend 30 minutes per week exploring pre-dance and creative movement with the help of an adult buddy.

Dancers will start to learn dance movement basics, gain strength and coordination, and use their bodies to express themselves. Explore props and games designed to keep the class moving at a pace that works with your child's current stage of development.

We also aim to help introduce social skills like following directions, taking turns, making friends, and listening to a teacher.

With the comfort of a trusted adult dancing with them, these little dancers will be getting comfortable in a dance classroom, and hopefully set the foundation for a lifetime love of dance!

What to Expect

Focus on Fun

Whether dancing becomes a short-term joy or a lifelong love, we aim to introduce our beginner dancers to the joys of dance using a 'fun first' philosophy.

Join your child as they learn through exploration, creativity and imagination,  in a fun and

supportive environment.

Gentle Fitness

Dancing is a form of exercise, and can help gently build your child's fitness.

Children that dance see an increase in strength and stamina; improving co-ordination, flexibility and range of motion throughout the whole body.

Dance movement can also increase balance,  muscle-tone and cardiovascular health.

Age Range

These classes are designed to introduce 3-4 year old children to beginning dance.

As our dancers gain more experience we will work with your family to introduce your 4-5 year old to the next level of dance exploration.

Buddy Support

Parent/Guardian can't make it? Another trusted person is welcome to join us. Buddies must be 16+ and approved by the child's parent/guardian.

If you have a limited range of motion due to injury/physical impairment, get in touch about how we can help accommodate you to participate with your child.
